Open Field Fridays (18+), Private Training Sessions and Field Rentals Now Available
Ocala, FL – Sports at WEC is expanding their programming with three dynamic, new offerings: Open Field Fridays (18+) for adult pick-up soccer, private soccer training sessions and field rental services. On the heels of two successful, sold-out recreational soccer camps, the Sports at WEC team is bringing additional soccer options to the Ocala community.
Located on-site at World Equestrian Center – Ocala, the Sports at WEC venue is equipped with over 100,000 square feet of premium turf and provides an indoor, climate-controlled environment perfect for training and play.
Sports at WEC Open Field Fridays (18+)
Dates: Fridays, July 12 – August 9
Time: 5pm – 9pm
Kickstart the weekend with Open Field Fridays (18+), a new opportunity for adult pick-up play. From July 12 through August 9, join us on Friday nights from 5pm to 9pm for soccer games on our indoor turf. Friendly scrimmages are open to all abilities and players ages 18+. Signup is required and participants must bring their own cleats, ball and gear.
“Open Field Fridays are about community and fun,” said Wyatt Stephens, Director of Sports at World Equestrian Center – Ocala. “We’ll have back-to-back pickup games across multiple fields so we’re friendly for players of all levels. There’s no better way to spend a Friday night than on the soccer field.”

Athletes can grow their skills to the next level with our private training sessions. Our talented coaches offer personalized, one-on-one or small group training tailored to each player or small groups’ specific needs and goals. These 1.5-hour sessions provide focused attention for maximum improvement.
“What’s great about private training is that we can build it around what the player needs to work on,” said Stephens. “One-on-one sessions dedicate time to the player, their game and improving their craft.”
