Ocala, FL – Joining the World Equestrian Center campus in Ocala, Florida, The Riding Academy Hotel will offer nearly 400 additional suites to visitors looking to stay on-site and experience what has often been called “Disneyland for horse lovers.”
While not a five-star experience like The Equestrian Hotel, guests will feel right at home in The Riding Academy Hotel, which offers many similarities to its luxurious sister hotel on property while embracing a unique identity of its own. Guests can enjoy access to The Equestrian Hotel amenities and the entire property, just steps away.
The luxurious lobby is beautifully designed to be both welcoming and comfortable for guests.
Warm, cozy leathers and rich mahogany colors that are synonymous with the equestrian lifestyle invite guests into a welcoming lobby. A grand fireplace made of marble will serve as the central gathering spot and feature custom ceramic dogs. Guests will immediately gravitate towards an antique hand-carved wooden horse in the lobby—the inspiration for the hotel’s namesake.
Playful touches like the artwork featuring dogs dressed as jockeys and animals as professors remind guests that joyfulness is at the forefront of this magnificent resort. Subtle equestrian and academic design details have been thoughtfully placed throughout the hotel, including equestrian-inspired carpet, Ralph Lauren stirrup sconces and custom trophy lamps in the guestrooms. The Roberts Design Group is again at the helm of the stunning design of World Equestrian Center’s newest addition.
The pet-friendly hotel will include expansive, upscale accommodations with separate sleeping and living quarters and desirable in-room amenities, such as coffee makers, Sub-Zero refrigerators and pull-out sofa sleeper beds.
Nowhere is the French countryside more apparent than the pool area surrounded by Live Oak trees and lush gardens. The large pool features a splash pad and outdoor fireplace.
Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool and sundeck, dual fitness centers, and lobby marketplace, all just a golf-cart-ride away from the thriving complex center, which boasts seven restaurants, a resort spa, more than two dozen shops, boutiques, and of course, expansive equestrian competition arenas.
Rooms will start at $209/night. The Riding Academy Hotel is slated to open spring of 2024. Stay tuned to the World Equestrian Center website for all the latest updates on future development in Ocala.
