Family dinner around the kitchen table was a symbol of love and happiness for Alex Lynch during her childhood. Ending the day with a full plate surrounded by her loved ones was only the beginning of her passion for cooking.

In her hometown of Groveport, Ohio, Alex was placed into her very first food and beverage job at a local family-owned pizzeria. She quickly became accustomed to what it takes to be a chef, and the simple pleasures that come with cooking and serving people. It was with great certainty that her familial experience with food paved the way for her career as chef.

Since joining World Equestrian Center – Wilmington in July 2018, Alex has filled nearly every culinary role, starting as a line cook in the International Grill & Café, to working as a sous chef in The Paddock Club, to being named Director of Food and Beverage of the facility.
