Ocala, FL – Celebrate the holidays at World Equestrian Center – Ocala! Winter Wonderland is underway bringing merriment and cheer to all. The halls of the Grand Plaza are decked with all the traditional regalia of the season, along with larger-than-life ornaments and a Christmas tree maze, a glittering 45-foot-tall walk-through Christmas tree and plentiful holiday décor. Winter Wonderland will be held through December 24 from Thursday through Sunday from 5pm-9pm. Please note, there is a $30 per vehicle parking fee from Thursday through Sunday from 3pm-9pm, while WEC – Ocala hosts Winer Wonderland. Pay on-site or pre-pay for parking HERE.
On December 3, join World Equestrian Center – Ocala for the Tinsel Trot 5k Run and Walk. Lace up your running shoes and deck yourself out in your brightest holiday gear for the Tinsel Trot 5K Run and Walk starting at 6pm. This timed evening race loops around the WEC property for 3.1 miles of holiday spirit. The professionally designed racecourse is open to all ages and will feature festive holiday entertainment, including stilt walkers and superheroes along the way. Stay for Winter Wonderland taking place in the Grand Plaza. $30 registration includes race shirt and finisher medals for first 1,000 people registered.
Race registration to increase to $40 day of. Please Note: a $30 per vehicle parking fee will be in place starting at 3pm Thursday through Sunday until December 25. Race participants with advanced registration in-hand are exempt from the Winter Wonderland parking fee. Does not apply to day-of entries.

There are only a few tickets left for the Carl Hester Through The Levels Master Class in Dressage on December 3. Six-time Dressage Olympian Carl Hester will be working with a number of young horses through to the grand prix level throughout the day, as he demonstrates the training system that has made him one of the most iconic names in the sport of Dressage. The 2022 USEF Fall Show Series will resume December 7 for another two-weeks of hunter/jumper sport before World Equestrian Center – Ocala kicks off the 12-week 2023 Winter Spectacular Show Series. During the two weeks in December, the show will host the $24,000 C. Jarvis Insurance Welcome Prix at 6pm (tentative) on December 8 and December 15. The $100,000 Grand Prix returns to the spotlight on December 10 and December 17 at 7pm in the WEC Grand Arena. Exhibitors, there is still time to book your stalls and place your entries. World Equestrian Center – Ocala will host one more dressage competition in 2022 presented by Hampton Green Farm and Discover Dressage, on December 15-18, 2022.

2023 USEF Winter Spectacular Show Series at World Equestrian Center – Ocala
Entries, select weekly stalls and the prize list for the 2023 USEF Winter Spectacular Show Series are now available. The 12-week series is comprised of United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) Premier Hunter/Level 6 Jumper competition running consecutively from January 4, 2023 through March 26, 2023. Week IX, February 28, 2023 through March 5, 2023 will showcase Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) CSI3* competition. The UF Veterinary Hospital at WEC offers leading-edge care to equine athletes on site as well as horses from the surrounding area. Our team of consists of specialists who are board-certified in equine sports medicine as well as experienced performance horse veterinarians. We are well versed in the demands of each individual horse sport and offer a range of treatments and aids to ensure your horse performs at its best. We offer ACVSMR performance evaluations for lameness, purchase, neurologic, respiratory, poor performance as well as additional categories, including soloshot videography, gastrointestinal tract examinations and telemetric electrocardiography.
