The 2021 Ocala Fall Show Series kicks off at World Equestrian Center – Ocala on December 1, with two weeks of top hunter/jumper competition. The Ocala Fall Show Series will feature exciting feature classes including $15,000 Welcome Prix, $12,500 3’6”-3’9” Hunter Derby, Saturday night $75,000 Grand Prix and much more.
Celebrate the holidays at World Equestrian Center – Ocala! Winter Wonderland is underway bringing merriment and cheer to all. With more than one million twinkling lights, a glittering 40-foot Christmas tree and a giant polar bear, World Equestrian Center – Ocala is the perfect destination to ring-in the holidays. Winter Wonderland offers multiple free events and special ticketed events throughout the month. Winter Wonderland will be held from Thursday – Saturday from 5p.m.-9p.m. and parking will be $20 per vehicle from 4p.m.-9p.m. For more information Winter Wonderland and a Q&A visit the event’s designated website at wecwinterwonderland.com.
World Equestrian Center – Ocala is pleased to welcome Laura Reece and her own Dansh’s Northern Tempest on Saturday, December 4 from 12p.m.-4p.m. Dansh’s Northern Tempest known as Dani, is the 2021 Breyer Fest Celebration Horse of the year. Dani is not a typical hunter horse, she is a shining example of her lineage’s versatility with the breeding of an Appaloosa/Friesian cross. The day will feature Dani and Laura for photo opportunities and signing of the Dansh’s Northern Tempest Breyer horse model at Mr. Pickles & Sailor Bear Toy Shoppe located within The Equestrian Hotel. Children will have the opportunity to paint a stablemate as well. This event is free and open to the public.
The Gallery reception on Saturday, December 11 is FREE! The World Equestrian Center – Ocala Gallery reception will include collections of artwork that are on the walls of The Equestrian Hotel. Guests will be able to enjoy cocktails and appetizers while they listen to the Artists speak about their work. World Equestrian Center – Ocala is excited to announce that entries are NOW OPEN for the Winter Spectacular 2022 Show Series featuring National Snaffle Bit Association (NSBA) sanctioned hunter/jumper competition. The 12-week show series will begin January 5, 2022 and offer all levels of competition. Highlights include feature classes such as the popular weekly Saturday night Grand Prix in the Grand Arena, Friday Hunter Derby day in the WEC Stadium and the prestigious Premier Equitation Cup Championship.
