In the end, Charlotte Bettendorf made her first trip to Wilmington one to remember as she jumped to a one-two finish with Kalliope and Good Girl DK, respectively.

Joe Carnicom crafted the track that saw six partnerships move onto the jump-off, but Bettendorf was the only athlete to find the path to leave all the rails intact.

Aboard the 10-year-old Belgian Sport Horse mare, Kalliope (Emerald Van’t Ruytershof x Delight), Bettendorf found the only double clear effort.

Five people and a horse pose indoors; one person on horseback wears riding attire and ribbons, while two others hold a large ceremonial check and prize items in front of a Clinton County sign.
