What are the dates of World Equestrian Center horse shows?
World Equestrian Center in Wilmington, Ohio, currently hosts 32 hunter/jumper horse shows, year-round. Our largest show is the 18-week Winter Series of the Midwest, running from late November through the end of April. Additionally, we have a Spring and Summer Series and a Fall Series.

What is the WEC position of Safe Sport?
Safe Sport, World Equestrian Center will comply with all requirements for amateur sport as set forth in the Ted Stevens Olympic and Amateur Sports Act and will refer all complaints to the United States Center for Safe Sport for independent investigation. World Equestrian Center shall uphold standards equal to those set forth in the Equestrian NGB’s Safe Sport Policy. World Equestrian Center shall give full reciprocity to any sanctions imposed by the U.S. Center for Safe Sport that are published on the Centralized Disciplinary Database.

How do I get to the showgrounds? What are the closest airports?
World Equestrian Center is conveniently located in Southwest Ohio, less than two hours north of the Kentucky Horse Park. We have plenty of free, on-site parking and can accommodate vehicles of all sizes.
There are three major airports within 50 miles of World Equestrian Center:
- John Glenn Columbus International Airport
- Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG)
- Dayton International Airport
World Equestrian Center – Wilmington also offers on-site landing access to customers with helicopters. Please call ahead to make arrangements.
The Wilmington Air Park is open to private aircraft and is less than 15 minutes away from World Equestrian Center – Wilmington. Car rentals are available at the airport. This facility can accommodate aircraft as large as a 747.
Do you have on-site shopping at World Equestrian Center?
WEC – Wilmington offers a plethora of on-site shopping in Vendor Village and the R+L Hallway including riding apparel, saddles and tack, and horse care products. Our A Sudden Impulse boutique also features an eclectic selection of elegant gifts, home good, and WEC-branded clothing and merchandise.

What are the hours of operation?
Hours of operation at World Equestrian Center – Wilmington vary. The horse show day typically runs from 8am until 5pm. The shows typically run longer on the weekends.
Is there an admission fee at World Equestrian Center shows?
No, World Equestrian Center shows are free and open to the public.
Is there seating available at the events?
Yes, each of our three main arenas have grandstand seating that is free and open to the public on a first come, first serve basis.
Is there a parking charge?
No. Parking is free at the facility. Wilmington equestrian spectators should park out front in designated spots and enter the showgrounds through the main gate.
Are World Equestrian Center shows handicap accessible?
Yes, the grandstands in the Sanctuary Arena and the R+L Arena are handicap accessible with lifts to accommodate wheelchairs.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes. World Equestrian Center – Wilmington welcomes well-behaved, leashed dogs at the horse shows.
Are World Equestrian Center events family-friendly?
Yes, we invite spectators to bring the whole family to the events at World Equestrian Center.
Are there places to eat at World Equestrian Center – Wilmington?
Yes. We have three main eateries on site: The Paddock Club, The International Café and Dark Horse Coffee Co. proudly serving Starbucks coffee. The International Grille offers traditional breakfast and lunch fare, while the Paddock Club offers a heartier dinner menu. View the menus on our dining page.
Do you serve alcohol at the facility?
Yes. The International Café and the Paddock Club serve beer and wine.

Is there shopping on site at World Equestrian Center?
Yes, many vendors attend each horse show and can be found in the storefronts of Vendor Village and in the hall of the R+L Arena. Our very own A Sudden Impulse boutique, located in the R+L Hallway, features World Equestrian Center-branded gear, along with an eclectic collection of antiques, whimsical housewares, gifts, jewelry, toys and stuffed animals.
Can I take photos at the facility?
Yes, you are welcome to take photos while spectating at the facility. However, you may not sell the photos to exhibitors due to contracts with official horse show photographers. Please view private photography policy before taking pictures at horse shows.
Can I rent out the facility for a function?
