Bagnato’s time held strong as the remaining combinations took their turns, including Jay Hayes (CAN) and 1994 Holdings’ Hope VA (Cornet Obolensky x Clarissa Mk). The pair delivered a speedy effort to slide right behind Bagnato in the standings with a time of 34.301 seconds.

As the final pair to contest the jump-off, Australia’s David Cameron and Laura Sloey’s Beijing LS La Silla entered the arena ready to challenge the leading time. Cameron and his mount navigated the track with precision, shaving more than half a second off Bagnato’s time to stop the clock at 33.193 seconds and claim the victory.

Cameron shined a light on his partnership with the 18-year-old Warmblood stallion: “He has a real special spot on our team because he’s given so much to everyone over the years. He’s 18 years old, and honestly, he seems to just jump better every year.”

As the 2026 Fall Classic Series came to a close, Cameron reflected on the impact of competing at WEC – Wilmington and the development he sees in his horses throughout their time at the facility. “I always find our horses leave Wilmington better than when they arrived. I think they really develop at the show,” Cameron shared.
