Ocala, FL – The 2024 Winter Spectacular Show Series at World Equestrian Center – Ocala (WEC) will offer more internationally rated jumping competition than ever before and will headline five weeks of the 12-week circuit, which runs January 3 through March 24, 2024.
The 2024 Winter Spectacular Show Series offers more than $6.5 million in prize money, along with opportunities for jumping athletes to earn valuable Longines Fédération Equestre International (FEI) ranking points during CSI weeks. In addition to unrivaled equine stabling and premier footing in warm-up and competition arenas, WEC – Ocala boasts a stunning Grand Arena with The Equestrian Hotel backdrop, family-friendly atmosphere, five-star on-site accommodations and a variety of dining options.
FEI competition begins with the FEI jog on Tuesdays and classes run through Saturday each CSI week. A $50,000 National Grand Prix is offered every Sunday of FEI competition weeks. The first CSI3* competition is during Week VII on February 14-18, 2024, followed by two more weeks of CSI3* on February 21- 25 and February 28-March 3. The CSI4*/2* on Week X runs March 6-10. Week XII, the finale week of the Winter Spectacular Show Series on March 20-24, hosts CSIO5* competition with a $330,000 grand prix and the $770,000 Longines League of Nations™.
WEC – Ocala is the only North American site of the Longines League of Nations™ qualifier for 2024 through 2027. The qualifier is one of only five events in the world as part of the Longines League of Nations™. The newly created Longines League of Nations™, which launches in 2024 as the world’s preeminent series in team Jumping, is a fresh start for the century-old equestrian team series and features a unified and global format where the top 10 nations compete at four incredible venues in order to qualify for a Final. Other venues that will host Longines League of Nations™ qualifiers include Abu Dhabi (UAE), St. Gallen (SUI) and Rotterdam (NED), while the final will be held in Barcelona (ESP).
