Ocala, FL – The $65,000 Buckeye Nutrition Grand Prix CSI2* kicked off an exciting day of competition at World Equestrian Center – Ocala during Week VI of the 2025 Winter Spectacular Show Series. After an electrifying six-horse jump-off, it was Eve Jobs (USA) and her own Ingmar (Gaillard De La Pomme x Carthino Z) who delivered a thrilling last-to-go performance, claiming victory by mere hundredths of a second.
Course designer Ken Krome (USA) set an intricate track with a tight time allowed, challenging the field and leading to rails down throughout. Ultimately, six horse-and-rider combinations found the key to a clear first round and advanced to the jump-off.

Kady Abrahamson (USA) was the first to return aboard her promising partner Martini VDL, setting a quick time of 38.58 seconds but knocking a rail. Germany’s Marcus Gruental followed with Linda Bammann’s Garrincha Van De Kalevallei (Plot Blue x Numero Uno), a 13-year-old Belgian Sport Horse mare, and posted the first clear in 37.18 seconds.

Richie Moloney of Ireland and Frog Pond Stables’ 11-year-old Selle Français gelding Ermes Di Tai (Canturano x L’arc De Triomphe*Bois Margot) upped the ante, stopping the clock in 35.89 seconds to take the lead. Raleigh Hiler (USA) and Lhynara gave it their best effort but had two unfortunate rails in 40.96 seconds.
Fernando Cardenas (COL) and Fano Car matched Abrahamson’s time of 38.58 seconds but also pulled a rail, leaving the final contender, Eve Jobs, with a chance to secure the win.

Jobs had been watching the jump-off unfold from the warm-up area and developed a clear plan for her 12-year-old KWPN gelding. “I know it was nine into the double combination, then it was eight after, and I knew the eight was quite forward, so I just landed and moved in on it and got there nicely,” she explained. Her efficient turns and open gallop secured the win, as the pair stopped the clock just fractions faster than Moloney in 35.87 seconds.
Reflecting on the course, Jobs praised the level of competition. “I thought it was a great course. It was 20 percent more technical than the Qualifier, which is just about right. I think he got the perfect amount of clears.”

Competing at World Equestrian Center – Ocala for the first time, Jobs was impressed by the venue. “This is my first time here, and wow, it’s pretty unbelievable what they’ve built. It feels like one of the most impressive showgrounds I’ve ever seen in my life.” Looking ahead to next week’s Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Ocala, she added, “I’ll be riding Canto Bruno, Ingmar again, and my longtime partner Valentino Tuiliere, so I’m excited and hopeful for good results.”
