The Labor Day Barrel Blast returns to World Equestrian Center – Ocala September 3-6, 2026. 

Competitors will battle for more than $30,000 in added money and awards throughout the holiday weekend, with classes designed for riders of all ages and experience levels. The schedule includes the fan-favorite 2D High-Stakes Rodeo Run, the growing 4D Limited Rider Class, and the featured Youth 4D with $10,000 added for competitors ages 18 and under as of January 1, 2026.

Open competitors will also have the opportunity to compete in the Open 4D, while additional side-pot classes provide even more chances to earn payouts and prizes, including the 2D Futurity, Derby, Elite 50 and Over, Aged Horse Over 9, Adult Class and Open 4D Average.

Set in Indoor Arena 5, WEC’s premier footing and fast ground conditions provide the perfect setting for top-level competition and exciting finishes.

Schedule coming soon/ Competition will be held Friday evening through Sunday. Practice will take place on Friday during the day.

Upon arrival, please bring the following health documents to the show office located in Indoor Arena 5. Please note, the registered name must be used on all health documents. If exhibitors do not check-in with the correct paperwork, they will be disqualified with no refund. 

  • A 30-day statement of health, certificate of veterinary inspection or a health certificate, is required for all horses arriving from outside the state of Florida
  • Negative Coggins within 1 year
  • Trainer/Owner Health Declaration – Signed by an owner/trainer confirming that the horse has not experienced a fever exceeding 101.5 degrees or any disease in the 72 hours leading up to its arrival. Additionally, the horse must not have been exposed to or treated for an unexplained fever in the past 28 days and should have tested negative for any disease at least 30 days prior to arrival. If the horse has tested positive within the last six months for any infectious diseases, this information should also be disclosed. See form.
  • Vaccine records of Flu/Rhino within the span of 6 months.

Any non-showing horse, including ride-around horses and pony horses must also provide the health papers above.
