Sports at WEC to Host Winter Wonderland 5v5 Youth Soccer Tournament This December 

Ocala, FL – Sports at WEC will launch a Winter Wonderland 5v5 Youth Soccer Tournament this December designed to deliver a family-friendly soccer tournament experience during a full weekend of holiday fun. Taking place December 13–14, 2025, this recreational tournament is open to co-ed youth players U8–U14 and will be hosted at World Equestrian Center – Ocala (WEC) on brand new premier outdoor soccer fields.  

The holiday-themed tournament features two levels of play: a Gold division for competitive teams and Silver for recreational teams. Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams in each age group. Players can look forward to fun festivities during the tournament, including referees decked out in holiday spirit, and evenings spent at WEC’s annual Winter Wonderland event. 

With more than one million holiday lights illuminating the Grand Plaza and show-stopping decorations, Winter Wonderland is a magical experience where families can take photos with Santa, meet the Grinch, watch rotating performers and enjoy the best food and drink traditions of the season.  

Teams are encouraged to stay on-site to take full advantage of the event experience. Tournament stay packages are available at both The Riding Academy Hotel and The Equestrian Hotel, with options that include Winter Wonderland admission, golf cart rentals, food vouchers and more.

Registration is open now. Pricing is $450 per team with the final registration deadline on November 28. Space is limited, and teams are encouraged to register early to guarantee participation.
