About
Save the date for the 2027 Winter Spectacular Show Series at World Equestrian Center – Ocala, returning January 6 through April 4, 2027. The 13-week circuit will feature US Equestrian (USEF) hunter/jumper competition, including 12 weeks of USEF Premier Hunter/Level 6 Jumper, one week of USEF Regional Hunter/Level 3 Jumper, 10 weeks of FEI competition and a lineup of major international events.
Making its debut in 2027, the inaugural Fédération Équestre Internationale (FEI) Pan American Equestrian Confederation (PAEC) Championships of the Americas will be held January 21-31 at World Equestrian Center – Ocala (WEC). Marking the first championship of its kind in the Americas, the event will bring jumping, dressage and eventing together, with athletes representing countries throughout the Americas. Competition will take place at WEC – Ocala, with the eventing cross-country phase held at the nearby Florida Horse Park. The Championships will run concurrently with Weeks III and IV of the Winter Spectacular Show Series. More information about the Championships of the Americas will be announced soon.
Five-star international jumping takes center stage during Week VII, February 16-21, with the return of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Ocala, featuring CSI5*-W and CSI2* competition.
Longines League of Nations™ will return to WEC – Ocala for its fourth edition during Week XI, March 16-21, bringing the world’s top 10 Jumping nations back to Ocala for one of the season’s premier team competitions alongside CSI2* competition.
Also new for 2027, hunters can look forward to three exciting weeks of World Championship Hunter Rider (WCHR) competition during Weeks III, V and IX, each featuring a major hunter showcase under the lights in the WEC Stadium. Weeks III and IX will bring $75,000 USHJA International Hunter Derbies to center stage, while Week V will feature the highly anticipated $100,000 Hunter Spectacular.
For junior equitation athletes, there is still time to qualify for the 2027 WEC Premier Equitation Cup Championship, taking place Saturday, February 13, during Week VI. Junior riders must earn 120 points during the qualifying period, which runs from February 1, 2026, through January 31, 2027. Qualified athletes will compete for a brand-new SUV and $100,000 in trainer awards.
The 2027 Winter Spectacular will also serve as the final opportunity for riders to earn points toward the WEC – Ocala Leading Rider Awards, with $450,000 in bonus money to be awarded across six divisions at the conclusion of Week XIII. Points have accumulated throughout the 2026-2027 season, with every point earned during the Winter Spectacular counting toward the final standings.
