World Equestrian Center – Ocala will once again welcome Iberian Cup at IBERICON, the premier Iberian-focused dressage showcase in North America, October 13–19, 2025. This prestigious event will highlight the elegance, athleticism, and heritage of the Iberian horse on one of the sport’s most prominent stages.

The Iberian horse is enjoying an unprecedented rise in international prestige, and nowhere is this more evident than at IBERICON 2025, returning to World Equestrian Center – Ocala, Florida, October 13–19, 2025. After its groundbreaking debut in 2024, IBERICON has emerged as the premier stage for the Pure Spanish Horse (Pura Raza Española, PRE) and Lusitano in North America. In the United States, the world’s second-largest market for these breeds, IBERICON now stands as a week-long celebration of competition, culture, education, and entertainment.

The Iberian Cup

The centerpiece of IBERICON is the Iberian Cup, an award program held in highlighted FEI classes at the WEC October national dressage competition, open exclusively to Iberian breeds. The Cup honors the enduring legacy of Iberian horses who have left their mark on international arenas—names like Rubi AR, Escorial, Fogoso, and Batuta on the Lusitano side, and Evento, Invasor, Fuego de Cárdenas, and Grandioso III among the Pure Spanish Horses.

In a circuit often dominated by warmbloods, the Iberian horse distinguishes itself through its natural ability to collect, noble temperament, and unparalleled willingness to work.

A World-Class Stage

The Iberian Cup runs alongside a full schedule of classes open to all breeds. Only designated Iberian Cup classes are eligible for this award program.

Judged by USEF licensed officials under official dressage rules and scoring, the Iberian Cup at IBERICON has rapidly become the most important Iberian-exclusive event in North America, drawing elite riders, breeders, and industry leaders.
