Sports at WEC’s Open Field Play Returns This Summer

Sports at WEC’s Open Field Play returns Thursday, May 14 through Saturday, August 8, bringing premium pickup soccer to athletes of all ability levels. Hosted indoors at WEC Exposition Center 2, players can drop in for pickup games from 5:30pm to 10pm on select evenings. New this year, Thursday sessions are available for high school players ages 13 to 17 and Saturday sessions for adults 18 and older. 

Participants should bring their own cleats, ball and gear. Advance registration is recommended. High school sessions are $20 online or $30 at the door, and adult sessions are $30 online or $40 at the door, while space allows.

Later this year, Sports at WEC is expanding its campus at World Equestrian Center – Ocala to support the continued growth of youth and community programming. The phased development of the new multi-field complex will bring 11 outdoor fields, including four artificial turf and seven natural grass, along with enhanced amenities such as spectator seating, dining and facilities.
