Ocala, FL – Junior equitation riders still have the chance to qualify for the 2024 WEC Premier Equitation Cup Championship, set to take place at World Equestrian Center – Ocala on February 10, 2024. To secure a spot in this prestigious event, riders must accumulate a total of 150 points by participating in the WEC Premier Cup Qualifier class.
Several opportunities remain to qualify for the 2024 championship. Junior athletes can earn points in qualifying classes offered at horse shows across the country or at upcoming shows at both World Equestrian Center locations in Ocala, Florida, and Wilmington, Ohio
Riders that have not already qualified can earn a wild card spot by placing first through third in the WEC Premier Cup Qualifier during Week V of the 2024 Winter Spectacular Show Series at World Equestrian Center – Ocala or Week VIII of the 2024 Wilmington Winter Classic at World Equestrian Center – Wilmington on January 31-February 4, 2024.

The 2024 WEC Premier Equitation Cup Championship features three phases – jumping, flat and a test – and gives junior athletes the opportunity to compete in the WEC Grand Arena for a brand-new SUV and the prestigious Premier Cup title, while their trainers will be eligible for $100,000 in awards.
