Labor Day Barrel Blast
Entries and stall reservations open June 15 through Saddlebook.com for the Labor Day Barrel Blast, held from August 28 to September 2 in Indoor Arena 5 at World Equestrian Center – Ocala.
With over $38,000 in added prize money, this event is the perfect opportunity for youth and teens to showcase their skills. The Labor Day Barrel Blast will feature two dedicated categories: Youth for ages 12 and under, and Teen for ages 13 to 18. These competitors will vie for substantial prizes and awards, culminating in the Super Sunday Finals where champions will be crowned. Additionally, the event will host several days of Open 4D classes, open to contestants of all ages, with cash payouts.
We invite spectators to come and cheer on these young rock stars as they showcase their speed and skill around the barrels Friday, August 30 through Monday, September 2.

Feed and Bedding
To ensure timely delivery, please place your feed and bedding orders at least 24 hours in advance of your arrival. Note, outside shaving deliveries and cardboard shavings are not permitted. Our feed and bedding store is conveniently located adjacent to Barn R. For any feed, bedding or stabling inquires, contact us at 352.411.3650.
Health Papers
Upon arrival, please bring the following health documents to the show office located in Indoor Arena 5. Please note, the registered name must be used on all health documents. Emailed health papers will not be accepted for this show.
- A 14-day statement of health, certificate of veterinary inspection or a health certificate, is required for all horses arriving from instate or outside the state of Florida. The statement of health must be dated within 14 days of check-in, affirming that the horses entering the facility have not had an elevated temperature, been to a facility where there has been a positive or suspected positive case of EHV, been in a close proximity to an ill horse and receive routine vet care and vaccinations. The Statement of Health must be signed by a licensed veterinarian and on the vet’s letterhead.
- Negative Coggins dated within one year.
- Trainer/Owner Health Declaration (New for 2024) – Signed by an owner/trainer confirming that the horse has not experienced a fever exceeding 101.5 degrees or any disease in the 72 hours leading up to its arrival. Additionally, the horse must not have been exposed to or treated for an unexplained fever in the past 28 days and should have tested negative for any disease at least 30 days prior to arrival. If the horse has tested positive within the last six months for any infectious diseases, this information should also be disclosed. See form.
- Vaccine records of Flu/Rhino within the span of six months.
Any non-showing horse, including ride-around horses and pony horses must also provide the health papers above.
