May 21, 2024 – Ocala, FL – The 2024 World Equestrian Center – Ocala (WEC) Summer Series has an exciting addition to the Week II schedule, running from June 19-23. The South Standlee/USHJA National Hunter Derby Regional Championship is coming to WEC – Ocala and will feature three hunter derbies: open, junior and amateur, each boasting $12,500 in prize money. Set in the prestigious WEC Stadium, this regional championship provides hunter riders with a prime opportunity to compete in a grand setting ahead of the Platinum Performance/USHJA International Hunter Derby Championship and USHJA Green Hunter Incentive Championship in August.
The Summer Series Week II schedule also includes the usual hunter derbies in the WEC Stadium.

The South Standlee/USHJA National Hunter Derby Regional Championship follows the same two-round format as the regular National Hunter Derby classes, and no qualifications are necessary. A minimum of the top 20 highest-scoring hunter combinations after the first round will be eligible to return for the handy portion.
