Top hunter professional Josh Dolan expressed his enthusiasm about competing at the WEC Stadium with both his green hunter and Derby Final horse. “The atmosphere here mirrors what we experience in Kentucky. The grandstands provide that championship feel, with the arena set below the seating” he shared. “I’m showing in the Incentive Finals, so it will be great to give my greener horse an experience in a big grand ring. I’ll be doing the big derby with my horse that’s in Derby Finals, so I’m incredibly thankful for the chance to prepare in such a great venue. If not here, where else?”
Tracy Fenney of MTM Farm also praised the WEC Stadium for its suitability for young horses. “The WEC Stadium is the perfect setting for our young and green horses to get ready for Incentive Finals. We showed out there during Week II of the 2024 Summer Series, and each horse took something away from the experience. It’s such a nice, open space and the jumps are spectacular.”
