Ocala, FL – The 2025 dressage competition calendar, sponsored by Hampton Green Farms at World Equestrian Center – Ocala (WEC), has been confirmed with all seven Fédération Equestre International (FEI)-rated events approved. The year will include shows in all but one month, allowing dressage riders and horses to compete and improve throughout the year with climate-controlled environments for stabling and riding no matter what kind of weather.
The 2025 slate of FEI-rated competitions, which run alongside national US Equestrian (USEF)/United States Dressage Federation (USDF) shows, will include three CDI3* shows and two CDI4* events in the first half of the year followed by FEI Dressage World Cup™ qualifiers in November and December. Each event will also provide qualifying opportunities for the Great American Insurance Group/USDF Region 3 Dressage Championships. The August shows will also be qualifiers for the 2026 FEI North American Youth Championships.

Dressage riders at WEC – Ocala gave rave reviews throughout 2024:
U.S. 2024 Paralympic individual bronze medalist Kate Shoemaker who also trained Fiona Howard, the three-time U.S. gold medalist at the Paris Paralympics and was part of a contingent of U.S. para dressage riders who rode at the first-ever CPEDI at WEC – Ocala this year: “It’s so amazingly horse friendly. You might not think that because it’s so big and grand, but horses have the sense that they’re in a good place. You get atmosphere, but horses gain confidence. It’s been a long time since [para] horses in the U.S. have had an opportunity for a new show venue, and we are incredibly thankful for it.”
U.S. Olympic team silver medalist Adrienne Lyle: “I think we’re incredibly fortunate to have this amazing facility here. It’s a wonderful place to show. The show management has been so great, and we’re just really excited to be here.”
U.S. Olympian Jan Ebeling: “WEC is amazing for us riders. The footing, which is the most important, is incredible and having air conditioning in Florida is wonderful. The stalls are great, too, and we love coming here.”
U.S. dressage team rider Charlotte Jorst: “I really love it here at WEC; the show was so well organized, and you can stay at a nice hotel.”
Catherine Haddad: “This is such an incredible venue. Every time I come, I’m more impressed. It’s expanded quite a bit, and they keep tweaking things. It’s so competitor friendly, and everything is seamless.”
Adam Steffens-Smienk: “We absolutely love showing here; it’s a real treat. Sven and I feel like we are on vacation. We come to every show we possibly can.”
Kassandra Barteau: “We love WEC. It’s great to have the Disney of the horse world in our back yard. I love that, as a facility, it has golf carts and the hotels – there is so much going on. I can be competing, and my husband and family can go to the pool or watch the jumpers. Or I can have my daughter in the leadline class, and we can be part of a big scene. Not many places offer that family appeal with all that multi-discipline stuff going on at the same time. It’s a genuine world-class facility.”
