Wilmington, Ohio – September 24, 2025 – To streamline the verification and tracking of horse health records, World Equestrian Center – Wilmington (WEC) has partnered with EquiTrace® EventPass, the Official Verified Horse Health Records provider of US Equestrian (USEF), for all USEF-rated horse shows.
Beginning December 1, 2025, all exhibitors must have their required health documents uploaded and verified in EventPass before arriving on the grounds. Competitors will not be able to receive back numbers until this step is completed.
EventPass provides a secure, digital system for managing and verifying horse health documents, reducing paperwork at the show office while ensuring compliance with USEF and state requirements. Once documents are verified, exhibitors will receive a unique QR code that can be scanned through the EventPass mobile app for quick check-in.
Requirements for All Horses Entering WEC – Wilmington Grounds
All horses entering WEC grounds must have:
- Current negative Coggins test (within 12 months)
- 14-day Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI) – required for horses arriving from outside Ohio
- Proof of mandatory USEF vaccinations within 6 months
Horses without a valid EventPass QR code meeting all health requirements should not be unloaded on the show grounds and will not be issued back numbers until all requirements are met.
How to Get Started with EventPass
- Create a free EventPass account at https://equitrace.app/eventpass-wec/
- Upload the required health documents (Coggins, CVI if applicable, and vaccinations) for verification.
- Once verified, create your EventPass for the shows and dates you’re attending.
- Present your QR code at the WEC Ohio Show Office to collect your back number
We strongly encourage exhibitors to complete their EventPass setup and document verification prior to arrival in order to avoid delays at check-in.
