March 16, 2024 – Wilmington, OHIO – Entries and stall reservations are now open for the World Equestrian Center – Wilmington Summer III horse show set to take place from August 7- August 11, 2024. Exhibitors can look forward to elite hunter/jumper competition along with weekly family-friendly events, onsite dining and lodging.
Summer III features USEF Premier/Level 4 Jumpers and nearly $300,000 in total prize money and awards and will host new, exciting opportunities with increased prize money in the hunter ring.
New for 2024, the hunter ring will play host to hunter derbies for horses and riders of all levels! Exhibitors can look forward to a $20,000 USHJA National 3’ Non-Pro Hunter Derby, a $20,000 National 3’ Open Hunter Derby, a $3,000 WEC 2’ Hunter Derby, and a $3,500 Non-Pro 2’6 Hunter Derby! World Equestrian Center (WEC) is thrilled to offer welcoming experiences for horses and riders, from cross rails to hunter derbies and grand prix.

- $20,000 USHJA National 3′ Non-Pro Hunter Derby

Young Hunter & Jumper Incentive Program
WEC is offering an affordable and exciting way to bring along young horses at its premier, climate-controlled, centrally located facility. All 5-, 6-, and 7-year-olds are eligible to be nominated.
All nominated jumpers will be eligible for the $45,000 Young Jumper Championship. Jumpers will pay a one-time nomination fee to enter the program. Entry fees and jumper nomination fees will be FREE for every show through November 2024.
All nominated hunters will be eligible for the Young Hunter Championship, where they will be offered back 100% of the nomination fees collected throughout the year as prize money (with a minimum of $2,500 guaranteed). Hunters will pay a one-time nomination fee to enter the program. Entry fees in the Young Hunter Division will be FREE for every show through November 2024.
The Young Hunter and Jumper Incentive Championships are tentatively scheduled to take place during Fall Classic #3 in October 2024. To learn more about the program, please visit the prize list.

Reserve Your Onsite Lodging at World Equestrian Center – Ohio
Guests are advised to make lodging reservations at their earliest convenience to ensure they secure accommodations close to the show grounds. Reservations can be made at WEC.net or by calling 937-382-0985 ext. 3
World Equestrian Center – Ohio has a myriad of onsite lodging options for guests:
- The Wilbur’s Estate –The Wilbur’s Estate is a stunning plantation-style mansion with five elegant luxury suites. Wilbur’s Estate is centrally located on the horse show grounds, just steps from arenas, stabling, and the Paddock Club. Free WiFi and VIP parking are included in your stay at Wilbur Estate.
- Cabins – Each of our cabins sleeps up to six guests and is within walking distance from our arenas and barns. Two of our cabins are handicap accessible. Free WiFi included.
- Home Away from Home Park – Directly across the street from our horse show entrance, our 130 home away from home units have two or three bedrooms with a fully equipped kitchen and living and dining room area. Free WiFi included.
- Camping Sites – World Equestrian Center has many camping sites equipped with electric, water, and sewer for $225 per week (or any portion thereof), you must reserve these on your entry form or stall reservation form. Please check in at the horse show office for a pass prior to parking your RV.
