The Fall issue features passionate articles about all areas of equestrian sport including rider and trainer features, season updates and style news.

Our cover story, Elements of Style – Part 1: Hunter Derbies Usher in a New Era of Growth for Equestrian Sports, features stunning photography from Third Shutter from the Sun and USHJA to accompany a beautifully written article describing the rise of the USHJA International Hunter Derby and the many successes it has brought for both horses and riders, inspired by the World Equestrian Center’s collaboration with Kentucky Horse Shows in the USHJA National Hunter Derby Series. Stay tuned for Part 2 of the Hunter Derby story inour Jan. 2019 issue.

The Stable Spotlight this quarter shines on Sugar Run Farm, based in Plain City, Ohio. Owned and operated by Jen Nadalin and Chris Eadline, who have collaborated for many years to establish a thriving business with a stong base in excellent horsemanship.

Spend 24 Hours in the Life of The Fischetti Brothers Jonathon and Joseph of Reflecting Heaven Stables where the twins talk about family, faith, and inspiration.

Alex Alston, a passionate young rider with high aspirations, is this quarter’s Junior Rider Focus. With a trifecta of incredible mounts and an amazing support team, Alex has moved up the ranks from riding ponies to winning the 3’6″ Junior Hunters.

Have you seen our spacious new outdoor complex in Wilmington, Ohio? The Spring & Summer Series 2018 Horse Shows story highlights action from the Spring and Summer Series, which were the first to break in the new Hunter and Jumper rings, all with dedicated warm ups and all weather footing.

The Tech Equestrian introduces us to Misty Pleiness, founder and creator of HorseLinc, an app that cuts down on endless hours of searching for services in the equine industry.
