World Equestrian Center – Ocala has multiple fun, family-friendly events happening this week including the Gypsy Vanner/Cob/Horse Association “A Silver Anniversary Celebration” on Friday, November 19 in Arena 3 starting at 8p.m. The program is a celebration of the colorful horses and the twenty-five years since they were first introduced to the USA. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the door. The Gypsy Vanner Horse Society 25th Anniversary Gala will be held in Arena 3 on November 20. This event is free and open to the public. The week also includes the Ocala Professional Boxing Slug Fest on Saturday, November 20 in Expo 2 and the Florida Marching Band Championships on November 20 & 21 in the WEC Grand Arena and WEC Hunter Stadium. Join World Equestrian Center – Ocala for an enchanted Winter Wonderland spectacular on the Grand Plaza to kick off the holiday season. With more than a million twinkling lights, Winter Wonderland promises to bring merriment and good cheer to all. Winter Wonderland begins on November 26, with the “Light Up” tree lighting event and continues with multiple events and performances through December 26. World Equestrian Center – Ocala is excited to announce that entries are NOW OPEN for the Winter Spectacular 2022 Show Series featuring National Snaffle Bit Association (NSBA) sanctioned hunter/jumper competition. The 12-week show series will begin January 5, 2022 and offer all levels of competition. Highlights include feature classes such as the popular weekly Saturday night Grand Prix in the Grand Arena, Friday Hunter Derby day in the WEC Stadium and the prestigious Premier Equitation Cup Championship.
