Ocala, FL – The inaugural FEI CSI3* Show Jumping competition at World Equestrian Center – Ocala started on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, with horses being presented to the ground jury for inspection. The first week of World Equestrian Center – Ocala’s FEI CSI3* competition runs Wednesday, June 22, through Saturday, June 25, and hosts top-level international competition sanctioned by the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI). Featured classes will include $6,000 FEI CSI3* 1.40m Speed, $37,000 1.45m FEI CSI3* Speed, $37,000 1.45m FEI CSI3* Power & Speed, $50,000 Lugano Diamonds FEI CSI3* Welcome Prix and the $140,000 Lugano Diamonds FEI CSI3* Grand Prix.
All FEI CSI3* classes will be held in the WEC Grand Arena.

Richard Spooner, better known as the ‘Master of Faster’ shared his enthusiasm about having FEI competition at World Equestrian Center – Ocala, “I am very excited that WEC is hosting an FEI competition. This is such an exceptional venue with incredible jumps, footing and an amazing atmosphere. When you win at WEC, it is the best feeling.”
Spooner recently relocated to Ocala, Florida from California to be close to the facility. This week Spooner will be showing his top level mounts, Chatinus and Quirado RC.
