World Equestrian Center – Ocala is hosting an array of fantastic events this week including Week VIII of the 2022 Winter Spectacular Show Series, World Equestrian Center – Ocala Dressage XIII Competition and the 9th Annual Northeast Florida First Lego League Regional Championships.
The 2022 Ocala Winter Spectacular Show Series is well underway with thrilling equestrian competition each week, including Saturday night’s $75,000 Alltech Grand Prix in the WEC Grand Arena at 7pm. Other feature class highlights include the $20,000 C. Jarvis Insurance Welcome Prix, $10,000 Buckeye Nutrition Futures Prix, jumper classic and four hunter derbies.
The hunter derbies will kick off on Friday with the $15,000 3’ Open Hunter Derby at 8am in Hunter 1. The 3’ Jr/Am Hunter Derby will follow, and then the $20,000 WEC Ocala 3’6”-3’9” Hunter Derby will top off the day.
This week’s Saturday night grand prix sponsor, Alltech will be hosting a FREE Lunch & Learn session on Saturday, February 26 in the Paris Room from 12pm-2pm. Come learn from Alltech’s PhD Equine Nutritionist, Dr. Mieke Holder, about the importance of nutrition in the career of the elite sport horse. There will be free lunch and the first 40 attendees will receive a FREE bag of Lifeforce Joint.

The 9th Annual Northeast Florida First Lego League Regional Championship will be held on February 26, in Expo 2 from 8am-7:30pm. This event is FREE and open to the public.
Dressage XIII Competition
Join us from February 25-27 in the CaptiveOne Advisors Arena (Arena) and Arena 2 for the World Equestrian Center Dressage XIII competition presented by Hampton Green Farm. Watch exciting classes such as the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Freestyle, where stunning horse-and-rider combinations dance using beautiful maneuvers. World Equestrian Center – Ocala 2022 Winter Spectacular
World Equestrian Center – Ocala is excited to announce that entries are NOW OPEN for the Winter Spectacular 2022 Show Series featuring National Snaffle Bit Association (NSBA) sanctioned hunter/jumper competition. The 12-week show series will begin January 5, 2022 and offer all levels of competition. Highlights include feature classes such as the popular weekly Saturday night Grand Prix in the Grand Arena, Friday Hunter Derby day in the WEC Stadium and the prestigious Premier Equitation Cup Championship.
