World Equestrian Center – Ocala is hosting an array of events this week including the 2022 Winter Spectacular Show Series, the New Year Paso Fino Festival and Marion County’s Father-Daughter Dance.
The 2022 Winter Spectacular Show Series continues with exciting competition throughout the week. Week V will feature Thursday’s $20,000 C. Jarvis Insurance Welcome Prix, Hunter Derby Friday in Hunter 1, the $75,000 Coca-Cola Beverages Florida Grand Prix and more! The Grand Prix will be held on Saturday, February 5 at 7pm in the WEC Grand Arena.
The hunter derbies will kick off on Friday with the $15,000 3’ Open Hunter Derby at 8am in Hunter 1. The 3’ Jr/Am Hunter Derby will follow then the $20,000 WEC Ocala 3’6”-3’9” Hunter Derby.

The New Year Paso Festival 2022 will be held in Arena 5 from Friday, February 4 – Sunday, February 6. The show will begin at 8:30am and will end depending on the number of entries. To learn more about the New Year Paso Festival, click HERE.
The 16th Annual Marion Country Father-Daughter Dance will take place on February 4 from 6pm-8pm and Saturday, February 5 from 4pm-6pm and 7pm-9pm. Click HERE for tickets and more information.
Join us next week for the Premier Equitation Cup Championship on February 12 in the WEC Grand Arena, where junior riders will be competing for a brand NEW SUV and the Premier Equitation Cup title. Saturday will also feature the first-ever World Equestrian Center – Ocala Equestrian Retail Fashion Show!
The half-hour-long Retail Fashion show will showcase Olympic riders modeling the industry’s top equestrian performance and fashion apparel on a catwalk set on course in the WEC Grand Arena. All the featured apparel is available from our retailers with storefronts at World Equestrian Center – Ocala, so guests can shop the styles they love after watching the show.
The Premier Equitation Cup Championship week will also feature renowned Performance Coach, John Haime! John Haime has coached some of the world’s leading athletes and the author of the newly released book, Ride Big. John will join our team for the week as a mentor for Premier Cup athletes and parents, hosting two information sessions, a guided course walk with course designer Bobby Murphy, a book signing and more. World Equestrian Center – Ocala is excited to announce that entries are NOW OPEN for the Winter Spectacular 2022 Show Series featuring National Snaffle Bit Association (NSBA) sanctioned hunter/jumper competition. The 12-week show series will begin January 5, 2022 and offer all levels of competition. Highlights include feature classes such as the popular weekly Saturday night Grand Prix in the Grand Arena, Friday Hunter Derby day in the WEC Stadium and the prestigious Premier Equitation Cup Championship.
